Zur Abgabe kommt ein wunderschöner, 1962er Höfner 182 shortscale Bass in Weiss Vinyl mit den berühmt seltenen Höfner Franz Pix 510B „Diamond“ Tonabnehmer. Natürlich liefert dieser Bass den typisch spritzigen 182 Sound für diesen er in heutigen Tagen sehr beliebt ist.
Der 182 ist von 1962! Entsprechend hat er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Das Vinyl ist trotz dem Alter in einem guten Zustand und glänzt sehr schön nach der Restaurierung. Altersbedingt ist es von Weiß ins Cream vergilbt. Ein Vorbesitzer hatte den Bass auf der Vorderseite einmal mit Nieten optisch „verschönert“ – Ich habe dies rückgängig gemacht und die löcher mit Holz verschlossen. Es gibt je nach Lichteinfall einen farblichen Unterschied, so dass man die alten Löcher noch sieht. Auf den Bildern sollte dies sehr deutlich erkennbar sein. Sieht in real aber nicht so auffällig auf, ist hier aufgrund der Belichtung. Das Vinyl und Keder liegt an den Kanten schön an und ist kaum geschrumpft. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren und sind original, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti.
Der 182 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack und das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Jedes einzelne Bauteil zerlegt, überprüft, gereinigt und aufpoliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine gute Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und geschliffen. Der 182 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.

Up for sale is a beautiful 1962 Höfner 182 short-scale bass with a white vinyl finish and the famously rare Höfner Franz Pix 510B „Diamond“ pickups. Naturally, this bass delivers the typical lively 182 sound for which it remains highly sought after today.
This 182 is from 1962! Accordingly, it shows signs of wear. There are nicks, dings, scratches, and cracks on the headstock, body, and other parts. Despite its age, the vinyl is in good condition and shines beautifully after restoration. Due to its age, it has yellowed from white to a cream color. A previous owner had once „embellished“ the bass with rivets on the front – I have removed these and filled the holes with wood and colored it with nitro lacquer. Depending on the light, there is a slight color difference, so the old holes are still visible. This should be very clear in the photos. It’s not as noticeable in person, however, due to the lighting. The vinyl and piping lie neatly at the edges and have hardly shrunk. All pickups are functional and original, as are every switch and rotary potentiometer.
The 182 has received a complete overhaul from me. The finish and vinyl were thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and polished. The tuning machines were cleaned, polished, and relubricated. All electronics were treated, cleaned, tested, and checked for proper grounding. Every single component was disassembled, inspected, cleaned, and polished. The neck was adjusted for optimal string action. The fretboard and frets were cleaned, treated, oiled, and sanded. The 182 is perfectly intonated and set up.

Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
Please look closely at the pictures and ask as many questions as possible if something is unclear. Prefer a few more questions than to have the surprise afterwards. The shipment is securely packed.
