Zur Abgabe kommt dieser wunderschöne Höfner 185 shortscale Bass mit den toll klingenden Höfner Franz Pix 511 „Nova Sonic“ Pickups aus dem Jahre 1966 in der schönen Weiß/Schwarz Vinyl Ausführung. Vollständig aufbereitet und restauriert, guter Zustand für sein Alter und liefert diesen unglaublich schönen drückenden 185 Sound, der sich deutlich von seinem Vorbild abheben kann. Der letzte in diesem Design, bevor das Facelift kam und tollerweise der erste im neuen Jahr von 1966.
Der 185 ist von 1966! Entsprechend hat Er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Das Vinyl ist trotz dem Alter in einem sehr guten Zustand und glänzt sehr schön nach der Restaurierung. Das Vinyl ist liegt an den Kanten schön an und ist kaum geschrumpft. Der Keder liegt ringsherum an. Das Vinyl ist altersbedingt etwas ins Creme vergilbt. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen, glänzt aber wieder sehr schön tiefschwarz nach der Restaurierung. Beide Tonabnehmer sind im original Zustand und funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Der Hals ist gerade, abgerichtet und eingestellt.
Der 185 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack und das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Jedes einzelne Bauteil zerlegt, überprüft, gereinigt und aufpoliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine gute Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und geschliffen. Der 185 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.

Up for sale is this beautiful Höfner 185 shortscale bass with the fantastic-sounding Höfner Franz Pix 511 „Nova Sonic“ pickups from 1966, finished in the lovely white/black vinyl configuration. Fully refurbished and restored, it’s in good condition for its age and delivers that incredibly beautiful, punchy 185 sound that clearly distinguishes itself from its predecessor. This is the last design before the facelift and, amazingly, the first of the new year in 1966.
The 185 is from 1966! Accordingly, it shows signs of wear. There are nicks, dings, scratches, and cracks on the headstock, body, and other parts. Despite its age, the vinyl is in very good condition and shines beautifully after restoration. The vinyl is nicely aligned at the edges and has nearly not shrunk. The binding is intact all around. Due to its age, the vinyl has yellowed slightly to a creamy color. The pickguard also has some scratches and wear, but shines beautifully deep black again after restoration. Both pickups are original and functional, as are all switches and potentiometers. The electronics are original. The neck is straight, leveled, and adjusted.
I gave the 185 a comprehensive overhaul. I thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished the paint and vinyl. The mechanics were cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All the electronics were treated, cleaned, checked and checked for grounding. Every single component was disassembled, checked, cleaned and polished. The neck was adjusted for a good string position. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 185 is fret-clean and adjusted.

Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
Please look closely at the pictures and ask as many questions as possible if something is unclear. Prefer a few more questions than to have the surprise afterwards. The shipment is securely packed.
