Zur Abgabe kommt dieser wunderschöne Höfner 500/1 Violin Bass aus dem Jahre 1966 mit den berühmten Höfner Franz Pix 511B Staple „Nova Sonic“ Tonabnehmer – Dieselben Tonabnehmer wie Sie auch dieser eine berühmte Musiker auf seinem Bass hat, weswegen sehr sehr viele Musiker so einen Bass haben möchten. Der 500/1 hat von mir eine vollständige Restaurierung inklusive Neck-Reset bekommen. Besonders auffällig ist die Gold-Top Lackierung die ich dem Bass gegeben habe. Dabei habe ich einen kompletten Grün aufbau gemacht und darauf dann das Nitro Gold-Top gesprüht. Viele zarte feine Lagen übereinander, mit einer Lackrezeptur wie damals in den 50er und 60er Jahren. Sprich, der Lack wird diese berühmten Risse bekommen, wie wir es von einer berühmten Gitarre kennen und auch die grünliche Verfärbung. Stellenweise ist der Lack auch schon gerissen
Der 500/1 ist von 1966! Entsprechend hat er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Der Hals Tonabnehmer wurde von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Der Bass hat von mir einen Neck-Reset mit Hautleim bekommen und hat nun wieder den korrekten Halswinkel mit einer schönen flachen Saitenlage. Aufgezogen sind speziell auf das kurze Tailpiece für mich angefertigte Vintage 63 Flatwound Saiten von Pyramid.
Der Violin Bass hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden zerlegt, gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert sowie jede einzelne Schraube. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und auf Erdung geprüft. Jedes einzelne Bauteil zerlegt, überprüft, gereinigt und aufpoliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage, Griffbrett gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Keine Neubundierung erforderlich. Der 500/1 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.

Up for sale is this beautiful Höfner 500/1 violin bass from 1966, featuring the famous Höfner Franz Pix 511B Staple „Nova Sonic“ pickups—the same pickups that this famous musician has on his bass, which is why so many musicians want one. I completely restored the 500/1, including a neck reset. Particularly striking is the gold-top finish I gave the bass. I applied a complete green buildup and then sprayed the Nitro Gold top coat on top. Many delicate, fine layers on top of each other, using a lacquer formula reminiscent of the 50s and 60s. In other words, the lacquer will develop those famous cracks, as we know from a famous guitar, as well as the greenish discoloration. The lacquer has already cracked in places.
The 500/1 is from 1965! It shows signs of use! There are blemishes, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. The neck pickup was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. I gave the bass a neck reset with hide glue and now has the correct neck angle again with a nice string action. The neck has a minimal bow, but still within the limits that a low string position is possible. Strung up with new Vintage 63 flatwound strings from Pyramid that were specially made for me because of the short tailpiece on the later 64 models.
I gave the violin bass a comprehensive overhaul. I thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished the paintwork. Mechanics were disassembled, cleaned, polished and re-lubricated as well as every single screw. All electrical system treated, cleaned and checked for grounding. Every single component is disassembled, checked, cleaned and polished. The neck is adjusted for good string action, the fretboard is cleaned, dressed, oiled and sanded. No refret required. The 500/1 is octave clean and setuped.

Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
Please look closely at the pictures and ask as many questions as possible if something is unclear. Prefer a few more questions than to have the surprise afterwards. The shipment is securely packed.
