Zur Abgabe kommt dieser wunderschöne Höfner 500/1 Violin Bass aus dem Jahre 1966 mit den berühmten Höfner Franz Pix 511B Staple „Nova Sonic“ Tonabnehmer – Dieselben Tonabnehmer wie Sie auch dieser eine berühmte Musiker auf seinem Bass hat, weswegen sehr sehr viele Musiker so einen Bass haben möchten. Der 500/1 ist in einem unrestaurierten Zustand und gebe ich so ab, wie er gerade ist, da ich gerade einfach zu viele Projekte habe.
Was müsste gemacht werden? Ein Neck Reset, generelle Aufarbeitung des Basses, Tonabnehmer und …. der Boden auf der Rückseite wurde von einem Vorbesitzer in der Vergangenheit einmal ausgetauscht. Es ist optisch leider nicht gut gemacht und das Binding löst sich stellenweise. Hals ist soweit gerade, Bünde haben noch gut Material. Die Substanz des Basses ist gut und man kann Ihn wieder spielbar machen. Das selbe werde ich auch tun, wenn Ihn hier keiner kauft – Eure Chance einen günstigen 500/1 von 1966 zu erwerben 😉

Up for sale is this beautiful 1966 Höfner 500/1 Violin Bass with the famous Höfner Franz Pix 511B Staple „Nova Sonic“ pickups – the same pickups that this one famous musician has on his bass, which is why so many musicians want one. The 500/1 is unrestored and I’m selling it as is, as I simply have too many projects at the moment.
What needs to be done? A neck reset, general restoration of the bass, pickup replacement, and… the back panel was replaced by a previous owner. Unfortunately, the work isn’t very good, and the binding is coming loose in places. The neck is straight, and the frets still have plenty of material. The bass is sound and can be made playable again. I’ll do the same if no one buys it here – your chance to get a great deal on a 1966 500/1 😉
