Zur Abgabe kommt dieser wunderschöne Höfner 500/1 Violin Bass aus dem Jahre 1973 mit den berühmten und gesuchten Franz Pix Höfner 513B Tonabnehmer. Schönes leichtes Model und dem typisch spritzigen Violin Bass Sound. Der Violin Bass hat seit seiner Einführung permanent Verbesserungen und Änderungen bekommen. Die späteren Modelle wie dieser haben meiner Meinung nach die bessere Hals-Korpus Übergangskonstruktion mit dem Long Tenon, welche einen sehr festen und sicheren halt verspricht.
Der 500/1 ist von 1973! Entsprechend hat Er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Beide Tonabnehmer sind Original und funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik wurde in der Vergangenheit gegen eine neuere Höfner Elektronik getauscht, aber noch mit dem original Control Panel. Der Halswinkel des Basses ist in Ordnung und benötigt keinen Neck Reset. Bünde sind noch original und wurden von mir partiel abgerichtet, so dass diese mit den neu aufgezogenen Pyramid 640 Flatwound Saiten schön hamonieren können.
Der Violin Bass hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden Ultraschall gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert sowie jede einzelne Schraube. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und auf Erdung geprüft. Jedes einzelne Bauteil zerlegt, überprüft, gereinigt und aufpoliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage, Griffbrett gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Keine Neubundierung erforderlich. Der 500/1 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.

Up for sale is this beautiful Höfner 500/1 violin bass from 1973 with the famous and sought-after Franz Pix Höfner 513B pickup. Beautiful, light model and the typical lively violin bass sound. The violin bass has been constantly improved and modified since its introduction. In my opinion, the later models like this one have the better neck-body transition construction with the long tenon, which promises a very firm and secure hold.
The 500/1 is from 1973! It shows signs of wear and tear! There are blemishes, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. Both pickups are original and work, as do every switch and rotary potentiometer. The electronics were replaced in the past with newer Höfner electronics, but still with the original control panel. The neck angle of the bass is fine and does not require a neck reset. The frets are still original and I have partially adjusted them so that they can harmonize nicely with the newly strung Pyramid 640 flatwound strings.
I gave the violin bass a comprehensive overhaul. I thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished the paintwork. Mechanics were ultra sonic cleaned, polished and re-lubricated as well as every single screw. All electrical system treated, cleaned and checked for grounding. Every single component is disassembled, checked, cleaned and polished. The neck is adjusted for great string action, the fingerboard is cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. No refret required. The 500/1 is clean and setuped.

Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
Please look closely at the pictures and ask as many questions as possible if something is unclear. Prefer a few more questions than to have the surprise afterwards. The shipment is securely packed.
