Ich hatte schon einige 172 auf meiner Werkbank, aber eine in Brokat Vinyl noch Nie! Umso mehr freut es mich das neue Jahr mit diesem für mich speziellen Instrument einzuleiten. Zur Abgabe kommt eine wunderschöne Höfner 172 in Brokat Vinyl mit dem berühmten Franz pix 510 Diamond Pickups aus dem Jahre 1965. Schönes Model mit sehr gut erhaltenen Vinyl. Besonders schön ist das komplett erhaltene seltene Celluloid Schlagbrett hervorzuheben, welches im hervorragenden Zustand und frei von Brüchen ist. Allgemein hat diese Gitarre einen sehr guten Zustand nach der Restaurierung und ist für Sammler nicht Uninteressant – Alleinschon wegen dem Gewicht von gerade einmal 2,53kg
Die 172 ist von 1965! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock und den Teilen. Das Vinyl ist noch sehr gut erhalten, liegt überall an und glänzt nach der Restaurierung wieder sehr schön. Der Keder ringsherum liegt auch noch gut an. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen, ist aber komplett erhalten, frei von Beschädigungen und hat einen wunderschönen tiefen Glanz. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch teilweise leserlich. Beide Tonabnehmer wurden von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren und sind original, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Bünde wurden abgerichtet und aufpoliert.
Die 172 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl und Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden zerlegt, gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Vibrato zerlegt, aufbereitet und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde abgerichtet, gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 172 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

I’ve had a few 172s on my workbench, but never one in brocade vinyl! I am all the more pleased to start the new year with this special instrument for me. A beautiful Höfner 172 in brocade vinyl with the famous Franz pix 510 Diamond pickups from 1965 is available for sale. Beautiful model with vinyl in very good condition. The completely preserved, rare celluloid pickguard, which is in excellent condition and free of breaks, is particularly beautiful. In general, this guitar is in very good condition after the restoration and is not uninteresting for collectors – if only because of the weight of just 2.53 kg
The 172 is from 1965! Accordingly she has signs of use! There are quirks, things and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock and the parts. The vinyl is still in very good condition; lies everywhere on at the body and shines very nicely after the restoration. The binding all around still fits well. The pickguard also has some scratches and scuffs, but is complete and free of damage. The lettering on the pickguard is partially legible. Both pickups was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work and are original, as well as every switch and potentiometer. Frets are leveled and polished
I gave the 173 a major overhaul. The vinyl and lacuer was cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. The vibrato was completely dismantled, cleaned, prepared and re-lubricated by me. Runs nice and smooth. Mechanisms have been dismantled, cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned, checked and grounded controlled. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets dressed, cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 173 is ocatve clean and setuped.
