Zur Abgabe mal was anderes von mir – Eine Höfner 164 / Colorama im roten Vinyl Snakeskin Überzug.
Die Gitarre ist von 1964/1965! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Wobei wir hier von einem sehr guten Allgemeinzustand sprechen können! Das Tolex hat keine Risse, auch das weiße Binding drum herum ist in einem Super Zustand und liegt überall sauber an. Das Schlagbrett ist Rissfrei und glänzt sehr schön – Hat aber Abnutzungserscheinungen wie Kratzer. Die Kunststoffabdeckung auf der Rückseite ist an einer Ecke des Schraubenlochs gebrochen. Hier hat Höfner einfach zu Knapp gebohrt – Wurde von mir geklebt. Beide Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Drehpoti. Die Tonabnehmer machen auf mich einen originalen Eindruck, lediglich hat jemand beim Durchmessen den Widerstandswert auf die Rückseite des Hals Pickups geschrieben. Zwei Potentiometer wurden in der Vergangenheit ausgetauscht – Hörbar kein Unterschied, aber durch den etwas anderen Widerstand beim Drehen spürbar. Die Bünde sind im guten Zustand und wurden abgerichtet. Der Hals ist gerade, Trussrod funktioniert und ich habe eine sehr gute Saitenlage eingestellt. Der Kunststoffflügel der hohen E Saite war gebrochen und wurde wieder geklebt. Typisch bei dem Model, ist der Steg zwischen Korpus und Saiten geklemmt. Das Schlagbrett liegt etwas auf der Abdeckung des Vibratos, auch das ist Serienmäßig. Die Volume/Tone Schaltung ist Vintage, dass heißt die Regler beeinflussen sich gegenseitig!
Die Gitarre hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Das Vibrato & Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen.
Die Gitarre ist ready to Rock n Roll und zwar mal richtig!
! Anmerkung zur Corona Lage:
Pakete werden weiterhin ausgeliefert und die Logistik funktioniert weiterhin wie gewohnt. Ich versende umgehend nach Zahlungseingang und die Gitarre wird sehr gut verpackt. The guitar is from 1964/1965! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! Although we can speak of a very good general condition! The Tolex has no cracks, and the white binding around it is in great condition and fits perfectly everywhere. The pickguard is crack-free and shines very nicely – but has signs of wear like scratches. The plastic cover on the back is broken at one corner of the screw hole. Here has Höfner simply drilled to scarce – was glued by me. Both pickups work, as well as each rotary potentiometer. The pickups make an original impression on me, only someone wrote the resistance value on the back of the neck pickup when measuring. Two potentiometers have been replaced in the past – hearable no difference, but noticeable due to the slightly different resistance when turning. The frets are in good condition and have been dressed. The neck is straight, Trussrod works and I have set up a good string action. The plastic wing of the high E string tuner was broken and was glued by me to working state. Typical of the model, the bridge between the body and strings is clamped. The pickguard lies somewhat on the cover of the Vibrato, which is also standard for this model. The volume / tone circuit is vintage, which means that the controls influence each other!
The guitar has received a comprehensive overhaul from me. I thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished the vinyl. The vibrato & tuners were cleaned and re-lubricated. Total electrics treated. The neck set for a super string action. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and polished.
