Zur Abgabe kommt dieser wunderschöne, wunderbare Höfner 500/1 Violin Bass aus dem Jahre 1964 mit den berühmten Höfner Franz Pix 511B Staple „Nova Sonic“ Tonabnehmer, wie Sie auch dieser eine berühmte Musiker auf seinem Bass hat, weswegen sehr sehr viele Musiker so einen Bass haben möchten. Der 500/1 hat von mir eine vollständige Restaurierung inklusive Neck-Reset bekommen. Es fällt mir tatsächlich nicht leicht, diesen Bass gehen zu lassen – So war er am Anfang ein hässliches Entlein und schon während der Restaurierung wusste ich, dass dies ein mega tolles Instrument zum Ende hin wird. Tatsächlich ist er das auch geworden. Tolle Saitenlage, phänomenale Used Optik, so gefallen mir die Violin Bässe am liebsten, wenn man Ihnen das Alter ansieht und danke den Pyramid 640 Saiten ein toller Sound, wie man Ihn von diesem Bass auch erwartet. Für mich einer der besten 1964er die ich bisher da hatte! Der Bass stammt ursprünglich vom berühmten Jazz-Gitarristen „Wawau Adler“
Der 500/1 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Der Lack ist komplett original. Auf der Rückseite findet sich eine leichte Verfärbung durch einen entfernten Aufkleber und eine größere Stelle, wo der Lack durch Abnutzung stellenweise fehlt. Das Schlagbrett ist eine authentische Replika gefertigt von mir – Hergestellt aus echtem Celluloiud, wie es damals auch verwendet wurde, kopiert von einem original Schlagbrett. Drei von Vier Spulen der Tonabnehmer wurden von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Der Bass hat von mir einen Neck-Reset mit Hautleim bekommen und hat nun wieder den korrekten Halswinkel mit einer herrlich schönen flachen Saitenlage. Aufgezogen sind Pyramid 640Flatwound Saiten.
Der Violin Bass hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden zerlegt, gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert sowie jede einzelne Schraube. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und auf Erdung geprüft. Jedes einzelne Bauteil zerlegt, überprüft, gereinigt und aufpoliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage, Griffbrett gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Keine Neubundierung erforderlich. Der 500/1 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.

Up for sale is this beautiful, wonderful Höfner 500/1 Violin Bass from 1964 with the famous Höfner Franz Pix 511B Staple „Nova Sonic“ pickup, like the one this famous musician has on his bass, which is why a lot of musicians want to have bass like this. The 500/1 received a complete restoration from me including a neck reset. It’s actually not easy for me to let this bass go – it was an ugly duckling at the beginning and even during the restoration I knew that this would be a really great instrument in the end. In fact, that’s what he became. Great string action, phenomenal used look, that’s how I like the violin basses best, considering their age and thanks to the Pyramid 640 strings a great sound, as you would expect from this bass. For me one of the best 1964s I’ve had so far! The bass originally comes from the famous jazz guitarist „Wawau Adler“
The 500/1 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! There are quirks, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and the parts. The paint is completely original. On the back there is a slight discoloration due to a removed sticker and a larger area where the paint is missing in places due to wear. The pickguard is an authentic replica made by me – made from real celluloid as it was used back then, copied from an original pickguard. Three of four coils from the pickups was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. I gave the bass a neck reset with hide glue and now has the correct neck angle again with a wonderfully flat string action and strung up with Pyramid 640 flatwound strings.
I gave the violin bass a comprehensive overhaul. I thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished the paintwork. Mechanics were disassembled, cleaned, polished and re-lubricated as well as every single screw. All electrical system treated, cleaned and checked for grounding. Every single component is disassembled, checked, cleaned and polished. The neck is adjusted for great string action, the fingerboard is cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. No rebundling required. The 500/1 is clean and adjusted.

Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
Please look closely at the pictures and ask as many questions as possible if something is unclear. Prefer a few more questions than to have the surprise afterwards. The shipment is securely packed.
