Eines der besten Gitarren ever! Höfner 176! Das sind die 60er, dass ist Surf, dass ist Rock n Roll! Die 176 bietet all das, was man bei der 172, 173 und 175 vermisst. Die Schaltung ist sehr ausgeklügelt, aber sehr einfach zu verstehen. Die Ton-Variation rießig, Favoriten lassen sich da schnell finden – Eher die Qual der Wahl welchen Ton man gerade spielen möchte. Ausgestattet mit drei der berühmten Höfner Franz Pix 513 „Blade“ Tonabnehmern, liefert die Gitarre eine tolle Flexibilität für alle gängige Musikrichtungen.
Die 176 ist von 1973! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich trotz des Alters dennoch Gebrauchsspuren auf Lack, Hardware und Kunststoff. Aber allgemein lässt sich sagen, dass die Gitarre in einem sehr guten Zustand ist, abgesehen von dem Lack-Abplatzer an der Brücke. Der Lack, sowie das Schlagbrett sind rissfrei und die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch sehr gut leserlich. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren und sind im original Zustand, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Anmerkung, die Bünde gehen in Richtung Fretlesswonder und sind ab Werk sehr Flach, lässt sich aber Prima bespielen
Die 176 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Allgemein jede einzelne Schraube. Vibrato zerlegt, aufbereitet und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde abgerichtet, gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 176 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

One of the best guitars ever! Höfner 176! That’s the 60s, that’s surf, that’s rock’n’roll! The 176 offers everything you miss on the 172, 173 and 175. The circuit is very sophisticated, but very easy to understand. The tone variation is huge, you can quickly find your favorites – it’s more like a difficult choice as to which tone you want to play. Equipped with three of the famous Höfner Franz Pix 511 „Nova Sonic“ humbuckers, the guitar offers great flexibility for all common styles of music.
The 176 is from 1965! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! Despite its age, there are still signs of wear on the paint, hardware and plastic. The paint on the neck shows some hairline cracks and wear, but still shines beautifully and is in great condition. Despite its age, the paint is in good condition and shines beautifully after the restoration and is covered with a few small cracks. The celluloid pickguard has signs of wear and tear, but is still in great condition and crack-free. The lettering on the pickguard is still good to read. All pickups work, as do every switch and potentiometer. The electronics are original.
I gave the 176 a major overhaul. The lacquer and vinyl was cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. The vibrato was completely dismantled, cleaned, prepared and re-lubricated by me. Runs nice and smooth. Mechanisms were disassembled, cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. Generally every single screw. All electrics treated, cleaned, checked and grounded controlled. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets dressed, cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The guitar is ocatve clean and setuped and plays beautiful with the strung on Pyramid Nickel Roundwound strings
