Zur Abgabe kommt ein Framus 5/149 Star Bass im herrlichen Red Burst. Der Sound dieses Basses ist sehr vielseitig und überrascht unglaublich gutklingend und drückend.
Der Bass hat von mir einen Neck-Reset bekommen, da der Hals in seiner Vorgeschichte einmal von einem Helden mit Epoxid in den Korpus geleimt wurde. Ich konnte den Hals nach sehr viel Arbeit und Geduld sauber lösen und wieder korrekt mit Hautleim sauber ein leimen. Leider sind durch die vorherige Aktion ein paar Spuren an den Stellen geblieben. Der Steg ist nicht original und wurde von mir passend mit Ebenholz für den Bass angefertigt – Harmoniert aber sehr gut. Der Tuner der E-Bass Saite ist von einem anderen Typ. Der Tone-Wahlschalter war leider gebrochen und habe diesen wieder remodeliert auf original Optik.
Der Bass hat dem Alter entsprechend Spuren. Hier und da sind ein paar Lackabplatzer zu sehen, am Pickguard sind ein paar Kratzer. Der Hals ist frei von Brüchen und gerade – Der Trussrod arbeitet zuverlässig. Ansonsten überzeugt der Bass aber mit einem sehr gepflegten Allgemein Zustand – Der Lack glänzt noch sehr schön und hat eine tolle Tiefenwirkung. Allgemein ist dieser Bass in seiner Konstruktion, leichten Gewicht und Sound etwas total besonderes – Das ist ein richtiges Vintage Instrument und automatisch erwischt man sich diesen Bass fast senkrecht in die Hand zu nehmen und Ihn im Bill Wyman Style zu spielen.
Der Bass hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt. Der Hals eingestellt für eine sehr gute flache Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen.

Here we have a Framus 5/149 Star Bass in wonderful Red Burst. The sound of this bass is very versatile and amazingly good-sounding.
The bass has become a neck reset from me because the neck was glued into the body by a hero with epoxy in the past. After a lot of work and patience I was able to loosen the neck cleanly and glue it back correctly with hide glue – Now it has the correct neck angle. Unfortunately, the previous action from the epoxy thing left a few traces in the places. The bridge is not original and was made by me using ebony – but harmonizes very well. The tuner of the E-String is of a different type. The tone selector switch was unfortunately broken and I remodeled it back to its original look.
The bass has signs of age. Here and there are a few flaked off paintwork. There are also a few scratches on the pickguard. The neck has and had no breaks and is straight – the Trussrod works. Otherwise, the bass convinces with a very neat general condition – the paint still shines beautifully and has a great depth effect. In general, this bass is something totally special in its construction, light weight and sound – this is a real vintage instrument and you automatically catch yourself taking this bass almost vertically in your hand and playing it in the Bill Wyman style.
The bass has received a comprehensive overhaul from me. The tuners were cleaned and re-lubricated. Total electrics treated. The neck set for a very good low string action. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and polished.
