Zur Abgabe kommt dieser schöne Höfner 185 Bass mit den toll klingenden Franz Pix 511 Nova Super Pickups aus dem Jahre 1965 in der schönen Weiß/Schwarz Vinyl Ausführung.
Der 185 ist von 19654! Entsprechend hat Er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Das Vinyl ist trotz dem Alter in einem guten Zustand und glänzt sehr schön. Das Weiß ist altersbedingt stellenweise ins Creme vergilbt. Der Bass wurde auf der Oberseite mit neuem alten Vinyl neubezogen – Leider nicht ganz flächendeckend, weshalb weiße Stellen teilweise hervorschauen, sowie Löcher von der alten Pickguardbefestigung. Es sieht live nicht so Schlimm aus wie auf den Bildern, aber man sieht es! An den Seiten ist das Vinyl Stellenweise auch nicht ganz anliegend und es scheint etwas Holz hindurch. Der Keder liegt ringsherum an. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen, glänzt aber noch sehr schön. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch gut leserlich. Tonabnehmer sind im Original Zustand. Beide Tonabnehmer funktionieren , sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Der Hals ist gerade, abgerichtet und eingestellt.
Der 185 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine flache Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde abgerichtet, gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Keine Neubundierung erforderlich. Der 185 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Up for sale is this beautiful Höfner 185 Bass with the great sounding Franz Pix 511 Nova Super Pickups from 1964 in beautiful White/Black vinyl.
The 185 is from 1965! Accordingly, it has signs of use! There are quirks, things and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. Despite its age, the vinyl is in very good condition and shines very nicely. The white has yellowed into cream in places due to age. The top of the bass was reupholstered with new, old vinyl – unfortunately not completely covering the whole area, which is why white areas are partially protruding, as well as holes from the old pickguard attachment. It doesn’t look as bad live as it does in the pictures, but you can see it! On the sides, the vinyl is not quite close in places and some wood shines through. The Binding is all around. Both pickups are original state and untouched. Both pickups work as well as every switch and potentiometer. The electronics are original. The neck is straight, dressed, sanded and set up. No refret requiered. On the back of the neck it shows some areas of wear – I left this because it just looks good due to its age – But if the new owner wants a shiny black neck, let me know then I can repaint.
I gave the 185 a major overhaul. The vinyl is cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. Mechanisms have been cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned and checked. The neck adjusted for a great actio. Fretboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 185 is ocatve clean and setuped.
