Zur Abgabe kommt eine schöne original Höfner 173 in Redburst mit den berühmten Franz pix 510 Diamond Pickups aus dem Jahre 1964. Typisch für diese Pickups ist, dass diese Single Coils sind, die in einem Humbucker-Gehäuse sitzen, bitte dies beachten!
Die 173 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock und den Teilen. Der Lack ist über die Jahre gerissen und der Lack wurde teilweise neu aufgesprüht, da einige Teile repariert werden mussten. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist stellenweise noch gut leserlich, zeigt aber starke Abnutzungen. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Die 173 wurde in früheren Tagen einmal neubundiert. Die Neubundierung hat große Bünde und wurde stellenweise nicht optimal durchgeführt. Die Gitarre ist spielbar, mehr aber zum rocken gedacht. Der Hals ist gerade und eingestellt. Das Höfner Logo und der Vibrato Hebel fehlt – Habe leider auch gerade keinen passenden da. Zusammengefasst – Nicht gerade eine Wertananlage, aber dafür eine pure Rock n Roll Gitarre die auch benutzt werden kann!
Die 173 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir stellenweise neu aufgetragen, umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 176 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

! Anmerkung zur Corona Lage:

A beautiful original Höfner 173 in Redburst with the famous Franz pix 510 diamond pickups from 1964 is for sale. Typical of these pickups is that these are single coils that sit in a humbucker housing, please note this!
The 173 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! There are quirks, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock and parts. The paint has cracked over the years and the paint has been partially re-sprayed as some parts had to be repaired. The pickguard also has some scratches and scuffs. The lettering on the pickguard is still legible in places, but shows heavy wear. All pickups work, as well as every switch and rotary potentiometer. The electronics are original. The 173 was refretted once in earlier days. The re-freting has large frets and was not performed optimally in places. The guitar is playable, but more intended to rock. The neck is straight and set. The Höfner logo and the vibrato lever are missing – unfortunately I don’t have a suitable one right now. In summary – not exactly an investment, but a pure rock n roll guitar that can also be used!
I gave the 173 a major overhaul. I applied the paint in places, thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished up. Mechanisms have been cleaned and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned and checked. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 176 is Bundrein and discontinued.
