Zur Abgabe kommt eine schöne original Höfner 173 im seltenen solid Weiß mit den toll klingenden Franz Pix 510 Diamond Pickups aus dem Jahre 1964. In der Farbe Weiß und mit weißen Hals tatsächlich eher selten zu bekommen
Die 173 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Der Lack hat dennoch einen unglaublich schönen Glanz und ist in ein schönes creme gegilbt, wie man es auch von alten 70er Stratocasters mag. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen – Hat aber auch noch einen sehr schönen Glanz. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch gut leserlich. Der Steg und Hals Tonabnehmer wurde von mir neu gewickelt – Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Der Hals ist gerade, abgerichtet und eingestellt. Eine Neubundierung ist nicht erforderlich. Die Kunststoff Vibratoabdeckung auf der Rückseite ist ein Replica.
Die 173 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Vibrato zerlegt, aufbereitet und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde abgerichtet, gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 173 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Up for sale is an original Höfner 173 in solid white with the famous and good sounding Franz pix 510 diamond pickups from 1964. The solid white color is actually rarely available also especially with a white neck.
The 173 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of use! There are quirks, things and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. But the lacquer has still a beautiful gloss and turned to a nice cream color like you like it also on the 70s stratocasters 😉 The pickguard also has some scratches and scuffs, but also a very beautiful shiny gloss. The lettering on the pickguard is still legible in places. The bridge and neck pickup was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and rotary potentiometer. The electronics are original. The neck is straight, dressed, sanded and set up. The plastic vibrato cover on the back is a replica by me.
I gave the 173 a major overhaul. The paint is cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. The vibrato was completely dismantled, cleaned, prepared and re-lubricated by me. Runs nice and smooth. Mechanisms have been cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned and checked. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets dressed, cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 173 is ocatve clean and setuped.
