Zur Abgabe kommt dieser schöne Höfner 185 Bass mit den toll klingenden Franz Pix 511 Nova Super Pickups aus dem Jahre 1964 in der schönen Weiß/Schwarz Vinyl Ausführung.
Der 185 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Das Vinyl ist trotz dem Alter in einem guten Zustand und glänzt sehr schön nach der Restaurierung. Das Vinyl ist altersbedingt an einigen Stellen geschrumpft – Habe dies so gut es ging wieder in Form gebracht, an einigen Stellen sieht man aber dennoch minimal das Holz hindurch. Der Keder liegt ringsherum an. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen, glänzt aber noch sehr schön. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch gut leserlich. 1 Spule des Steg Tonabnehmers wurde von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Das Binding wurde von mir an einer kleinen Stelle gegen Halsende repariert, dadurch gibt es einen kleinen farblichen Unterschied. Der Hals ist gerade und das Griffbrett ist frei von Deadspots dank Abrichtung.
Der 185 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine flache Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde abgerichtet, gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Keine Neubundierung erforderlich. Der 185 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Up for sale is this beautiful Höfner 185 Bass with the great sounding Franz Pix 511 Nova Super Pickups from 1964 in beautiful White/Black vinyl.
The 185 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of use! There are quirks, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. The vinyl is in good condition despite its age and has a very nice shine after the restoring. The vinyl has shrunk in some places due to age – I got it back into shape as best I could, but you can still see the wood through in some places. The piping fits all around. The pickguard also has some scratches and scuffs but still has a very nice shine. The lettering on the pickguard is still legible. One coil of the bridge pickup was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The electronics are original. The binding was repaired by me at a small point towards the end of the neck, so there is a small difference in color. The neck is straight and the fretboard is free of dead spots thanks to the dressing.
I gave the 185 a major overhaul. The vinyl is cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. Mechanisms have been cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned and checked. The neck adjusted for a great actio. Fretboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 185 is ocatve clean and setuped.
