Zur Abgabe kommt die für mich das persönlich schönste Gitarrenarchtop Model das es gibt – Die Höfner Verythin! Hier mit der zusatzschaltung im Model 4575. Wer diese Gitarren nicht kennt, sie haben Ihren Namen nicht umsonst!
Die Gitarre ist von 1966! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Der Lack hat vereinzelt Kratzer, Risse und Macken – Aber alles sehr dezent. Dennoch hat er noch einen guten Zustand und einen schönen Glanz nach der Restaurierung. Es handelt sich hierbei nicht um den Originallack – Die Verythin wurde in der Vergangenheit abgeschliffen und in Natur-Blonde neulackiert. Die Lackierung ist nicht perfekt, aber doch schon sehr Alt und passt unglaublich gut zur Gitarre. Schade das Höfner die Verythin nie in dieser Farbvariante herausgebracht hat. Das Schlagbrett hat altersbedingt Kratzer und Abnutzungen, ist aber ansonsten Rissfrei und hat einen sehr schönen Tiefschwarzen Ton. Die Beschriftung am Control Panel ist noch sehr schön leserlich und super erhalten. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Der Hals ist gerade und der Trussrod funktioniert. Die originalbrücke wurde gegen eine bessere Rollerbrücke ausgetauscht, eine originalbrücke kann jederzeit wieder montiert werden. Der Knopf am Control Panel wurde gegen ein Blend Poti getauscht
Die Gitarre hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden zerlegt, gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Vibrato zerlegt, aufbereitet und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die Verythin ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

! Anmerkung zur Corona Lage:

For me the most beautiful guitar archtop model – the Höfner Verythin! Here with the additional circuit in the model 4575. If you don’t know these guitars, they don’t have their name for nothing!
The guitar is from 1966! Accordingly, it has signs of use! The paint has a few scratches, cracks and quirks – but everything is very subtle. However, it is still in good condition and has a nice shine after the restoration. This is not the original paint – The Verythin has been sanded down in the past and repainted in natural blonde. The finish isn’t perfect, but it’s very old and goes incredibly well with the guitar. It’s a shame that Höfner never released the Verythin in this color variant. The pickguard has scratches and wear due to age, but is otherwise free of cracks and has a very nice deep black tone. The labeling on the control panel is still very legible and well preserved. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The neck is straight and the truss rod works. The original bridge was exchanged for a better roller bridge, an original bridge can be reinstalled at any time. The button on the effectboard was changed agains a blend potentiometer
I gave the Verythin a major overhaul. The lacuer was cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. The vibrato was completely dismantled, cleaned, prepared and re-lubricated by me. Runs nice and smooth. Mechanisms have been dismantled, cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned, checked and grounded controlled. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The Verythin is ocatve clean and setuped.
