Zur Abgabe etwas völlig anderes und ich denke auch sehr seltenes 😊 Einen Hofner Partsbass. Mit dem Vorbild meines 1964er Basses, habe ich aus Leftover Teilen diesen Bass aufgebaut.
Verwendet wurde ein NOS ca 1964-1966 lackierter Höfner Violin Bass Korpus, der noch komplett frei von Bohrungen und Fräsungen war. Ich habe die Fräsungen entsprechend meinem 1964er Bass platziert. Ebenso Anordnung der Tonabnehmer, richtige Abstände usw. Der Hals ist ebenfalls 1964-1966 zuzuordnen. Die Tonabnehmer sind original von 1964 und wurden von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Das Tailpiece ist ebenfalls von einem 1964er 500/1 Bass. Die Mechaniken sind neue Höfner Bass Mechaniken. Ebenso ist der unterteil des Steg neu von Höfner und die Saitenauflage von 1964. Das schmale Control Panel ist von einem 1962er Bass! Es finden sich dennoch überall Gebrauchsspuren, Kratzer, Dings und Dongs.
Die perfekte Chance für euch, so an einen günstigen 1964er Spec Violin Bass zu kommen. Ein originales Schlagbrett würde ohne Anstände passen. Hätte auch noch ein Replika in Petto -> Anfragen
Der Bass hat von mir eine umfassende Komplett-Überholung bekommen. Ich war wirklich überall dran und habe alles kontrolliert, gesäubert und behandelt. Mechaniken wurden geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik kontrolliert, behandelt und gereinigt. Der Hals eingestellt für eine gute Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und poliert – Ein Abrichten der Bünde war nicht erforderlich. Der Hals ist kerzengerade und benötigt so gut wie keinen Halsstabanzug – Sehr viel Potential für die ganzen Jahre.

Here we have something completely different and I think also very rare 😊 A Hofner partsbass. With the example of my 1964 bass, I built this bass from leftover parts.
A NOS painted Höfner violin bass body ca.1964-1966 still completely free of bores and millings, was used. I placed the millings according to my 1964 bass. Also the arrangement of the pickups, correct spacing, etc. The neck can also be assigned to 1964-1966. The pickups are original from 1964 and have been rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I am using the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same winding direction; same number of turns; same assembly technique – there is no hearable difference to an original. The tailpiece is also from a 1964 500/1 bass. The machine heads are new Höfner bass machine heads. The lower part of the bridge is also new from Höfner and the bridge from 1964. The small control panel is from a 1962 bass! Nevertheless, there are signs of wear, scratches, things and dongs everywhere

I gave the bass a complete overhaul. I was really there and checked, cleaned and treated everything. Mechanisms have been lubricated. All electrics checked, treated and cleaned. The neck adjusted for good action. Fretboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and polished – the frets did not need to be straightened. The neck is straight and doesn’t need a truss rod suit – a lot of potential for the whole years.
