Hier haben wir den Vintage Bass schlechthin, dass 60er Jahre Icone von Höfner – Der 500/1 Violin Bass.
Der Bass hat die berühmten Staple Bar Franz Pix „Super Nova“ Pickups eingebaut – dieselben die auch im Bass von McCartney verbaut waren/sind.
Der Bass ist von 1966! Entsprechend hat er Gebrauchsspuren! Der originale Lack ist überzogen mit Rissen, Dings, Dongs und sehr viel Mojo. Die Vorderseite wurde von mir in Nitro neu lackiert. Farblich passt die Lackierung recht gut zum Alter des Basses, hatte diese bewusst etwas dunkler gewählt. Der Lack glänzt noch sehr schön und ist super erhalten. Das Schlagbrett fehlt leider. Leider fehlt etwas Material vom Celluloid am Hals-Korpus Übergang. Eine Tuner Mechanik ist von einem anderen Model, habe leider gerade keine passende Ersatz Mechanik da. Der alte Steg fehlte und wurde gegen einen original neuen Höfner Steg ersetzt. Die Tea Knopf Reglerknöpfe sind ebenfalls Austauschteile, passen optisch aber super zum Bass. Beide Tonabnehmer wurden von mir neu gewickelt – Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Die Bünde sind im guten Zustand
Der Bass hat von mir eine umfassende Komplett-Überholung bekommen. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt und gereinigt. Der Hals eingestellt für eine gute Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt, abgerichtet und poliert. Der Bass hat von mir einen Neck-Reset mit Hautleim bekommen. Neck-Resets gehören zu meinen Spezialgebieten und Ihr könnt euch sicher sein, dass hier erstmal keine Probleme kommen werden.

! Anmerkung zur Corona Lage:
Pakete werden weiterhin ausgeliefert und die Logistik funktioniert weiterhin wie gewohnt. Ich versende umgehend nach Zahlungseingang und die Gitarre wird sehr gut verpackt. Here we have the vintage bass, that 60s Icone by Höfner – The 500/1 Violin Bass
The bass has the famous Staple Bar pickups – the same ones that were / are also used in McCartney’s bass.
The bass is from 1966! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! The original paint is covered with cracks, dings, dongs and a lot of mojo. The front was repainted by me in nitro lacquer. In terms of color, the paintwork matches the age of the bass quite well and i had deliberately chosen it to be a little darker. The paint still shines very nicely and is in great condition. The pickguard is missing. Unfortunately, some material from the celluloid is missing at the neck-body transition. A tuner is from a different model type, unfortunately I don’t have a suitable replacement mechanism at the moment. The old bridge was missing and was replaced with an original new Höfner bridge. The „tea knobs“ are also replacement parts, but they look great with the bass. Both pickups have been rewound by me – pickups I have rewound are authentic. I am using the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same winding direction; same number of turns; same assembly technique – there is no audible hearable difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and rotary potentiometer. The electronics are original. The frets are in good condition
The bass got a complete overhaul from me. I was really tuned in and controlled, cleaned and treated everything. Mechanics were cleaned and re-lubricated. Entire electrics treated and cleaned. The neck adjusted for a good string position. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled, dressed and polished. The bass has get a neck-reset from me. Neck-resets are one of my specialties and you can be sure that there will be no problems for the time being.
