Mal wieder etwas richtig schönes und seltenes – Eine Höfner Galaxie in solid Rot – Ich liebe ja rote Höfner, dieses Rot was da damals eingesetzt wurde ist einfach der Wahnsinn, stechend und knallig schön in Verbindung mit dem schwarzen Celluloid Pickguard und der vernickelter Hardware. Was ist besonders an dieser Galaxie? Sie hat keinen Selmer Stempel – Gute Frage ob diese Gitarre versehentlich in den deutschen Markt gelangte oder tatsächlich eine Zeitlang bis zur 176 solche Modelle im umlauf waren.
Die Galaxie ist von 1963! Es finden sich trotz des Alters dennoch Gebrauchsspuren auf Lack, Hardware und Kunststoff. Der Lack ist trotz dem Alter in einem guten Zustand und glänzt sehr schön nach der Restaurierung und ist überzogen mit einigen Rissen. Das Celuloid Schlagbrett hat einen sehr schönen tiefen Schwarzen Glanz und ist Riss- und Bruchfrei. Die Tonabnehmer wurden von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Der Hals ist gerade, wurde abgerichtet und ist eingestellt.
Die Galaxie hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden zerlegt, gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Vibrato zerlegt, aufbereitet und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde abgerichtet, gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 175 ist Bundrein und eingestellt und spielt sicher herrlich schön mit den aufgezogenen Pyramid Nickel Roundwound Saiten bei einer sehr flachen Saitenlage

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.

Once again something really beautiful and rare – A Höfner Galaxy in solid red – I love red Höfner, the red that was used back then is simply amazing, piercing and brightly beautiful in combination with the black celluloid pickguard and the nickel-plated hardware. What is special about this galaxy? It doesn’t have a Selmer stamp – good question as to whether this guitar accidentally came onto the German market or whether such models were actually in circulation for a while up to 176.
The Galaxie guitar is from 1963! Despite the age, there are still signs of wear on the paint, hardware and plastic. The paint is in good condition despite its age and has a very nice shine after the restoration and is covered with some cracks. The celuloid pickguard has a very nice deep black sheen and has no damage. The pickups was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The neck is straight, dressed and set up.
I gave the Galaxie a major overhaul. The lacquer was cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. The vibrato was completely dismantled, cleaned, prepared and re-lubricated by me. Runs nice and smooth. Mechanisms have been dismantled, cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned, checked and grounded controlled. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets dressed, cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 175 is ocatve clean and setuped and plays beautiful with the strung on Pyramid Nickel classics strings

Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
