Zur Abgabe kommt eine schöne Höfner 173 in seltener blauen Lackierung mit den toll klingenden Franz Pix 510 Diamond Pickups aus dem Jahre 1964. Als Zugabe zur seltenen Farbe, gibt es einen ebenso seltenen Korpus aus Mahagoni !
Die 173 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Der Lack hat dennoch einen schönen Glanz nach der Restaurierung erhalten. Der Lack war am Korpus an vielen Stellen gebrochen. Ich habe alle Risse konserviert und ab geebnet, so das diese nur noch optisch sind, wenn man mit der Hand darüber fährt kann man diese aber nicht erfühlen! Durch die Behandlung hat der Lack etwas von seiner vergilbten Verfärbung verloren, am Hals selbst erkennt man noch die vergilbung des blauen Lacks. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen. Auch hat das Schlagbrett stellenweise minimale Verfärbungen, ansonsten hat es aber noch einen sehr schönen Glanz. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch gut leserlich. Die Tonabnehmer sind im Originalzustand. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Der Hals ist gerade und eingestellt. Es deutet darauf hin, dass die Gitarre in der Vergangenheit einmal neu bundiert wurde – Wurde aber sehr gut gemacht. Die Mechaniken sind Austauschmechaniken, ebenso wie die Gurtpins. Zusammengefasst – Eine 173 in seltener Lackierung, mit seltenen Mahagoni Korpus und einer außergewöhnlichen Risspatina Optik – Aber, sie spielt sich optimal und klingt fantastisch.
Die 173 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend behandelt, gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Vibrato zerlegt, aufbereitet und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, poliert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 173 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Up for sale is a beautiful Höfner 173 in a rare blue finish with the great-sounding Franz Pix 510 Diamond pickups from 1964. As an addition to the rare color, there is an equally rare mahogany body!
The 173 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of use! There are quirks, things and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. The lacquer has still a beautiful gloss after the restoring. The paint was broken in many places on the body. I have preserved and leveled all the cracks so that they are only visible, but if you run your hand over them you cannot feel them! As a result of the treatment, the paintwork has lost some of its yellowed discoloration, on the neck itself you can still see the yellowing of the blue paintwork. The pickguard also has some scratches and scuffs. The pickguard also has minimal discoloration in places, but otherwise it still has a very nice shine. The lettering on the pickguard is still legible. The pickups are in original condition. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The electronics are original. The neck is straight and set up. It suggests that the guitar has been refreted once in the past – but was done very well. The mechanics are replacement mechanics, as are the strap buttons. In summary – A 173 in a rare finish, with a rare mahogany body and an extraordinary cracked patina look – But, it plays optimally and sounds fantastic.
The gave the 173 a major overhaul. The paint was extensively treated by me, cleaned, disinfected and polished. Mechanics have been cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. Vibrato disassembled, refurbished and relubricated. All electrical treated, cleaned, tested and checked for grounding. The neck adjusted for a super string action. fretboard and frets cleaned, polished, treated, oiled and sanded. The 173 is octave clean and setuped.
