Zur Abgabe kommt eine schöne original Höfner 173 in snake skin vinyl schwarz/weiß mit den berühmten Franz pix 510 Diamond Pickups aus dem Jahre 1964. Typisch für diese Pickups ist, dass diese Single Coils sind, die in einem Humbucker-Gehäuse sitzen, bitte dies beachten!
Die 173 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat er Gebrauchs-spuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock und den Teilen. Das Vinyl ist trotz dem Alter aber noch sehr gut erhalten und nahezu unversehrt und glänzt unglaublich schön. Der Keder ringsherum ist am unteren Cutaway an zwei Stellen gebrochen und zwischendrin ist er an Stellen etwas benutzt, ansonsten aber ringsherum erhalten und liegt schön und fest an. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen und unten im Bereich der Klinkenbuchse einen Riss – Sollte auf den Bildern gut sichtbar sein. Dieser wurde von mir behandelt. Die Schrift der Tonabnehmerauswahlschalter ist noch teilweise gut leserlich. Der Hals Tonabnehmer wurde von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Die Bünde sind im sehr guten Zustand und abgerichtet. Eine Neubundierung ist noch nicht erforderlich. Der Hals ist gerade und eingestellt. Eine Achse der Mechaniken ist ein Austauschteile, sollte auf den Bildern deutlich zu erkennen sein. Fällt aber erst auf dem zweiten Blick auf.
Die 173 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 173 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.
Ihr seid normalerweise von mir die Bilder auf Steinboden gewöhnt. Ich bin in einen neuen Laden umgezogen und suche noch nach einer guten Foto-Location. Daher solange solche Bildaufnahmen 😊

Here we have a beautiful original Höfner 173 guitar in snake skin vinyl black / white and she comes with the famous Franz pix 510 Diamond pickups from 1964. It is typical for these pickups that these are single coils that sit in a humbucker housing, please do note this!
The 173 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! There are quirks, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock and parts. Despite the age, the vinyl is still very well preserved and almost intact and shines incredibly beautiful. The binding all around is broken in two places on the lower cutaway and in between it is used a bit in places, but otherwise preserved all around and is nice and tight. The pickguard also has some scratches and wear and a crack at the bottom of the input jack – should be clearly visible in the pictures. This was treated by me. The font of the pickup selector switch is still partially legible. The neck pickup was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The electronic is original. The frets are in very good condition and dressed. A refret is not yet necessary. The neck is straight and setuped. One axis of the mechanics is a replacement part, should be clearly visible on the pictures. But you only notice it at second look.
The 173 has received a comprehensive overhaul from me. The vinyl was cleaned, disinfected and polished by me. Mechanics were cleaned and relubricated. All electric treated, cleaned and checked. The neck adjusted for a super string action. Fretboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The Höfner 173 is octave clean and setuped.
