Zur Abgabe kommt eine schöne Höfner 173 im schönen Redburst mit den toll klingenden Franz Pix 510 Diamond Pickups aus dem Jahre 1964
Die 173 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Der Lack hat dennoch einen unglaublich schönen Glanz. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen. Einen kleinen Riss gibt es an der Schraube unterhalb der Eingangsbuchse. Auch hat das Schlagbrett stellenweise Verfärbungen, ansonsten hat es aber noch einen sehr schönen Glanz. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch stellenweise gut leserlich. Die Tonabnehmer sind im Originalzustand. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Der Hals ist gerade, abgerichtet und eingestellt. In der Vergangenheit wurde die Gitarre bis zum 10. Bund neubundiert mit etwas dickeren Bünden. Die Bundierung wurde soweit gut gemacht und der Gesamtzustand, sowie Zustand der anderen original Bünde war so gut, dass eine Neubundierung nicht in notwendig ist – Spielt sich in dieser Kombination überraschend sehr gut. Der Flügel der hohen E-Saiten Mechanik ist ein Austauschteil und optisch leicht anders. Die 173 hat außerdem einen Knochensattel
Die 173 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Vibrato zerlegt, aufbereitet und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde abgerichtet, gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 173 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Up for sale is an original Höfner 173 in solid redburst finish with the famous and good sounding Franz pix 510 diamond pickups from 1964.
The 173 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of use! There are quirks, things and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. The lacquer has still a beautiful gloss. The pickguard also has some scratches and scuffs. There is a small crack on the screw below the input jack. The pickguard also has discoloration in places, but otherwise it still has a very nice shine. The lettering on the pickguard is still legible in places. The pickups are in their original condition. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The electronics are original. The neck is straight, dressed and set up. In the past the guitar was fretted up to the 10th fret with slightly thicker frets. The refret was done well so far and the overall condition as well as the condition of the other original frets was so good that a refret is not necessary – surprisingly plays very well in this combination. The tulip-wing of the high E-string mechanics is a replacement part and looks slightly different. The 173 also has a bone saddle
I gave the 173 a major overhaul. The paint is cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. The vibrato was completely dismantled, cleaned, prepared and re-lubricated by me. Runs nice and smooth. Mechanisms have been cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned and checked. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets dressed, cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 173 is ocatve clean and setuped.
