Beschreibung
Zur Abgabe kommt eine schöne original Höfner 176 in snake skin vinyl schwarz/weiß mit den berühmten Franz pix Super Nova Pickups aus dem Jahre 1964. Die 176 ist die Deluxe Version und bietet all das, was man bei der 172, 173 und 175 vermisst. Die Schaltung ist sehr ausgeklügelt, aber sehr einfach zu verstehen. Die Tonevariation rießig, Favoriten lassen sich da schnell finden – Eher dann die Qual der Wahl welchen Ton man gerade spielen möchte 🙂 Der Sound ist sehr drückend und es macht wahnsinnig spaß diese Gitarre zu spielen.
Die 176 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock und den Teilen. Das Vinyl ist trotz dem Alter aber noch gut erhalten. Altersbedingt hat es ein paar Creme Verfärbungen. Der Keder liegt ringsherum sauber an und ist nicht gebrochen, bis auf der Unterseite beim Gurthalter. Das Vinyl ist an einigen Stellen, besonders unteren Hälfte geschrumpft. Ich habe es so gut es ging wieder restauriert. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen und im Bereich des unteren Cutaways eine Bruchstelle die aber repariert wurde. Ebenfalls habe ich zwei nachträglich hinzugefügte Bohrungen bei der Klinkenbuchse wieder verschlossen – Sollte auf den Bildern gut sichtbar sein. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist stellenweise noch gut leserlich, zeigt aber starke Abnutzungen. Der Hals und Middle Tonabnehmer wurden von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Die Tonabnehmerkappen haben oberflächlich Dellen. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Die Bünde sind im sehr guten Zustand und abgerichtet. Eine Neubundierung ist noch nicht erforderlich. Der Hals ist gerade und eingestellt und wurde nachlackiert in Schwarz. Zusammengefasst – Nicht gerade eine Wertananlage, aber dafür eine pure Rock n Roll Gitarre die auch benutzt werden kann!
Die 176 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals wurde lackiert und eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 176 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

! Anmerkung zur Corona Lage:

Here we have a beautiful original Höfner 176 guitar in snake skin vinyl black / white and she comes with the famous Franz pix super Nova pickups from 1964. The 176 is the deluxe version and got all that what you miss on the 172, 173 and 175. The circuit is very cool and easy to understand. The tone variations are big and you find fast your own favorites – It’s hard to decide what tone to use because they sound all very cool 🙂 The sound pressures and it make a lot of fun to play this guitar – really!
The 176 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! There are quirks, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock and parts. Despite the age, the vinyl is still very well preserved and almost intact and shines incredibly beautiful. It has some cream stains due to age. The binding fits neatly all around and is not broken, except on the underside of the belt holder. The vinyl has shrunk in some places, especially the lower half. I restored it as best I could. The pickguard also has some scratches and wear and a break in the area of the lower cutaway which has been repaired. I also closed two holes that were added later on the input jack socket – should be clearly visible in the pictures. The lettering on the pickguard is still legible in places, but shows heavy wear. The neck and middle pickups were rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The pickup covers have dents on the surface. The electronic is original. The frets are in very good condition and dressed. A refret is not yet necessary. The neck is straight and setuped and was repainted. Not a collecetor piece, but a guitar that can be rocked and used!
The 176 has received a comprehensive overhaul from me. The vinyl was cleaned, disinfected and polished by me. Mechanics were cleaned and relubricated. All electric treated, cleaned and checked. The neck lacquered and adjusted for a super string action. Fretboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The Höfner 176 is octave clean and setuped.
