Zur Abgabe kommt dieser sehr relic angehauchte 1964er Höfner 182 shortscale bass in einem wunderschön creme solid Weiß. Ausgestattet mit den berühmten Franz Pix 511b „Nova Sonic“ Pickups. Der Korpus ist aus Mahagoni – Selten und nicht häufig und daher umso mehr hervorzuheben – und mit den vielen Rissen im Lack. Natürlich liefert dieser Bass den typisch spritzigen 182 sound
Der 182 ist von 1964! Es finden sich trotz des Alters dennoch Gebrauchsspuren auf Lack, Hardware und Kunststoff. Der Korpus ist wie erwähnt aus Mahagoni und übersehen mit jedemenge Risse im Lack. Die Risse sind aber alle solide und der Lack blättert nicht ab, es ist eine rein optische Sache die dem Lack über die Jahre widerfahren ist. Der Lack wurde aufbereitet und glänzt wieder wunderschön nach der Restaurierung. Das Celluloid Schlagbrett hat einen schönen Tiefen Schwarzen Glanz und ist Rissfrei bis auf eine kleine Stelle an einer Pickguardschraube in Richtung Stegtonabnehmer. Das Pickguard wurde stellenweise mit Celuloid repariert und hat altersbedingt natürlich ein paar Abnutzungen. Beide Tonabnehmers wurden von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Der Hals ist gerade, wurde abgerichtet, schwarz nitro neu lackiert und ist eingestellt.
Der 182 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super flache Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, abgerichtet, poliert, behandelt, geölt. Der 182 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.

This very relic-inspired 1964 Höfner 182 shortscale bass in a beautiful cream solid white is available for sale. Equipped with the famous Franz Pix 511b „Nova Sonic“ pickups. The body is made out of mahogany – rare and not common and therefore all the more outstanding – and with the many cracks in the paint. Of course, this bass delivers the typical lively 182 sound
The 182 is from 1964! Despite the age, there are still signs of wear on the paint, hardware and plastic. As mentioned, the body is made of mahogany and has lots of cracks in the paint. But the cracks are all solid and the paint is not peeling off, it’s a purely visual thing that has happened to the paint over the years. The paint has been restored and shines beautifully again after the restoration. The celluloid pickguard has a beautiful deep black shine and is crack-free apart from a small spot on a pickguard screw towards the bridge pickup. The pickguard has been repaired in places with celuloid and of course has some wear and tear due to age. Both pickups was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The electronics are original. The neck is straight, has been dressed, repainted in black nitro and is adjusted.
The 182 got a major overhaul from me. The paint was thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished by me. Mechanics have been cleaned and re-lubricated. All electrical treated, cleaned, tested and checked for grounding. The neck adjusted for a super low string position. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, dressed, polished, treated, oiled. The 182 is octave clean and setuped.

Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
