Zur Abgabe kommt eine schöne original Höfner 173 in Sunburst mit den toll klingenden Franz Pix 510 Diamond und Franz Pix 511 Nova Super Pickups aus dem Jahre 1965. Mit 2,9 kg definitiv ein Exemplar der leichteren Sorte
Die 173 ist von 1965! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Der Lack hat dennoch einen unglaublich schönen Glanz. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen – Hat aber auch noch einen sehr schönen Glanz. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch gut leserlich. Der Steg Tonabnehmer wurde von mir neu gewickelt – Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Der Hals ist gerade, abgerichtet und eingestellt. Die Kunststoff Vibratoabdeckung auf der Rückseite hat an einer Ecke eine kleine reparierte Bruchstelle. Die original Mechaniken wurden in der Vergangenheit gegen Schaller Type Mechaniken ausgetauscht, die aber super zur Gitarre passen und gut die Stimmung halten.
Die 173 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 173 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Up for sale is an original Höfner 173 in Sunburst with the famous and good sounding Franz pix 510 diamond and Franz Pix 511 nova super pickups from 1965. With 2,9kg this is one of the leighter models
The 173 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of use! There are quirks, things and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. But the lacquer has still a beautiful gloss! The pickguard also has some scratches and scuffs, but also a very beautiful shiny gloss. The lettering on the pickguard is still legible in places. The bridge pickup was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and rotary potentiometer. The electronics are original. The neck is straight, sanded and set up. The plastic vibrato cover on the back has a small repaired break at one corner. The original tuner mechanics have been changed for Schaller type tuner mechanics heads in the past, but they fit great with the guitar and keep the tuning well.
I gave the 173 a major overhaul. The paint is cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. Mechanisms have been cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned and checked. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 173 is ocatve clean and setuped.
The guitar is ready to roll!
