Zur Abgabe kommt dieser wunderschöne Höfner 500/2 Club Bass aus dem Jahre 1965. Schönes Transition Model welches noch die schmalen Tonabnehmerrahmen hat, die wie ich finde einfach schöner auf dem Club Bass kommen. Der Bass hat von mir eine Neu Lackierung auf der Vorderseite in Nitro-Sunburst bekommen, da er in der Vergangenheit einmal abgeschliffen wurde. Ich mag Club Bässe mit dunklem Burst und hatte mich daher dafür entschieden, die Seitenzargen und Rückseite sind noch im Originallack und in einem etwas helleren Burst. Der Kontrast zusammen gibt aber ein stimmiges Bild und der Bass ist aufjedenfall ein Blickfang den man mögen wird
Der 500/2 ist von 1965! Entsprechend hat Er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Der Lack ist überzogen mit kleinen feinen Rissen, Dellen und Abschürfungen, hat aber nun nach der Restaurierung wieder einen wunderschönen tiefen Glanz. Die Decke ist neulackiert, hat aber ein kleines Relic von mir bekommen, damit es optisch zum Rest passt. Drei von vier Spulen der Tonabnehmer wurden von mir neugewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Der Bass hat von mir einen Neck-Reset mit Hautleim bekommen und hat nun wieder den korrekten Halswinkel mit einer herrlich schönen flachen Saitenlage. Das Schlagbrett fehlt leider.
Der Club Bass hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden zerlegt, gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert sowie jede einzelne Schraube. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und auf Erdung geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage, Griffbrett gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Keine Neubundierung erforderlich, es ist noch gut Bundmaterial vorhanden. Der 500/2 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.
Kommt ohne Case, wird aber sehr sicher verpackt

! Anmerkung zur Corona Lage:

This beautiful Höfner 500/2 Club Bass from 1965 is for sale. Beautiful transition model which still has the small pickup frames, which I think are simply better looking on the Club Bass. I gave the bass a new coat of paint on the front-top in nitro sunburst because the previous owner sanded it down. I like club basses with a dark burst and that’s why I decided to go for it, the sides and back are still in the original paint and in a slightly lighter burst. The contrast together gives a coherent picture and the bass is definitely an eye-catcher that you will like
The 500/2 is from 1965! Accordingly, it has signs of use! There are quirks, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. The paint is covered with small fine cracks, dents and abrasions, but now has a wonderful deep shine again after the restoration. The top has been repainted but got a small relic from me to match the rest of the look. Three coils of four was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The bass got a neck reset from me with hide glue and now has the correct neck angle again with a wonderfully low string action. Unfortunately the pickguard is missing.
I gave the club bass a major overhaul. The lacquer was cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. Mechanisms have been disassembled, cleaned, polished and re-lubricated also every screw and part. All electrics treated, cleaned and checked for grounding. The neck adjusted for a great action, fretboard and frets cleaned, oiled and sanded. The 500/1 is ocatve clean and setuped.
Comes without Case, but will be packed safety!
