Beschreibung
Zur Abgabe kommt dieser schöne Höfner 185 Bass mit den toll klingenden Höfner Franz Pix 511b „Nova Sonic“ Pickups aus dem Jahre 1967 in schön dunkler Redburst Tocotronic Lackierung. Bereits das Model mit Facelift, sprich einem Mastervolume und 2 Tone Reglern, aber noch mit den Staple Tonabnehmer, bevor dann auf die Blade Tonabnehmer gewechselt wurde.
Der 185 ist von 1967! Entsprechend hat er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Der Lack ist trotz dem Alter in einem guten Zustand und glänzt sehr schön nach der Restaurierung. Das Celuloid Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls Abnutzungen, aber durch die Restaurierung wieder einen sehr schönen Glanz und ist Riss- und Bruchfrei. Der Steg Tonabnehmer wurde von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Der Hals ist gerade, wurde abgerichtet und ist eingestellt.
Der 185 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend behandelt, gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Jedes einzelne Bauteil zerlegt, überprüft, gereinigt und aufpoliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine gute Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und geschliffen. Der 185 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.

This beautiful Höfner 185 bass with the great sounding Höfner Franz Pix 511b „Nova Sonic“ pickups from 1967 in a nice dark redburst Tocotronic finish is up for sale. Already the model with a facelift, i.e. a master volume and 2 tone controls, but still with the staple pickups, before switching to the blade pickups.
The 185 is from 1967! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! There are quirks, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and the parts. The paint is in good condition despite its age and shines beautifully after the restoration. The celuloid pickguard also has wear and tear, but thanks to the restoration it has a very nice shine again and is free of cracks and breaks. The bridge pickup was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The neck is straight, dressed and set up.
I gave the 185 a major overhaul. I treated the paintwork extensively, cleaned, disinfected and polished it. Mechanics have been cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned, tested and checked for grounding. Every single component is disassembled, checked, cleaned and polished. The neck is adjusted for good string action. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and dressed. The 185 is octave clean and setuped.

Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
