Zur Abgabe kommt eine schöne original Höfner 172 in snake skin vinyl schwarz/weiß mit den berühmten Franz pix 510 Diamond Pickups aus dem Jahre 1964. Typisch für diese Pickups ist, dass diese Single Coils sind, die in einem Humbucker-Gehäuse sitzen, bitte dies beachten! Ein echtes Leichtgewicht mit 3,07kg
Die 172 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock und den Teilen. Das Vinyl ist trotz dem Alter aber noch sehr gut erhalten und nahezu unversehrt und glänzt unglaublich schön. Auf der Rückseite findet sich eine Stelle wo ein kleines Stück fehlt. Der Keder ist gut erhalten nirgendwo gebrochen und liegt schön und fest an. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen jedoch noch einen sehr schönen Glanz. Die Schrift der Tonabnehmerauswahlschalter ist noch teilweise gut leserlich. Der Hals Tonabnehmer wurde von mir neu gewickelt. Von mir gewickelte Tonabnehmer sind authentisch. Ich verwende den gleichen Draht-Typ; dasselbe Tape und Kreppmaterial; die gleiche Windungsrichtung; selbe Windungsanzahl; gleiche Zusammenbautechnik – Es gibt keinen hörbaren Unterschied zu einem Original. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Die Bünde sind im guten Zustand und abgerichtet. Eine Neubundierung ist noch nicht erforderlich. Der Hals ist gerade und eingestellt. Die Vibrato-Kunststoff Abdeckung ist eine Replica. Die Gurthalter sind gegen stabile Metal-Pins im Strat Style getauscht worden
Die 172 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 172 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Here we have a beautiful original Höfner 172 guitar in snake skin vinyl black / white and she comes with the famous Franz pix 510 Diamond pickups from 1964. It is typical for these pickups that these are single coils that sit in a humbucker housing, please do note this! A real leightweight with only 3,07kg
The 172 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! There are quirks, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock and parts. Despite the age, the vinyl is still very well preserved and almost intact and shines incredibly beautiful. On the back there is a place where a small piece is missing. The binding is in good condition, nowhere broken and fits nicely and tightly. The pickguard also has some scratches and wear but still has a very nice shine. The lettering on the pickup selection switch is still partly legible. The neck pickup was rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The electronic is original. The frets are in good condition and dressed. A refret is not yet necessary. The neck is straight and setuped. The plastic vibrato cover is a replica. The strap buttons where changed against solid metal Strat-Style buttons
The 172 has received a comprehensive overhaul from me. The vinyl was cleaned, disinfected and polished by me. Mechanics were cleaned and relubricated. All electric treated, cleaned and checked. The neck adjusted for a super string action. Fretboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The Höfner 173 is octave clean and setuped.
