Eines der besten Gitarren ever! Höfner 176 Galaxy! Das sind die 60er, dass ist Surf, dass ist Rock n Roll! Die 176 ist die Deluxe Version und bietet all das, was man bei der 172, 173 und 175 vermisst. Die Schaltung ist sehr ausgeklügelt, aber sehr einfach zu verstehen. Die Tonevariation rießig, Favoriten lassen sich da schnell finden – Eher dann die Qual der Wahl welchen Ton man gerade spielen möchte 🙂 Der Sound ist sehr drückend und es macht wahnsinnig spaß diese Gitarre zu spielen.
Die Gitarre ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Das Tolex ist über die Jahre an den Seiten etwas geschrumpft und lässt an manchen Stellen etwas Holz hervorscheinen. Ebenso hat es über die Jahre einen leichten Creme Touch bekommen – Durch den guten Zustand wirkt dieses aber sehr gepflegt. Das Schlagbrett ist Rissfrei. Der Klarlack auf der Rückseite des Halses wurde in der Vergangenheit entfernt und ist jetzt Natur behandelt – Ein sehr schönes Spielgefühl. Das Plastic-Cover auf dem Vibratohebel ist ein Replica von mir, ebenso das Plastic-Cover auf der Rückseite. Die Regler arbeiten rausch und knackfrei. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti.
Die Gitarre hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Das Vibrato & Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen.

One of the best guitars ever! Höfner 176 Galaxy! This are the 60s, this is Surf, this is Rock n Roll! The 176 is the deluxe version and got all that what you miss on the 172, 173 and 175. The circuit is very cool and easy to understand. The tone variations are big and you find fast your own favorites – It’s hard to decide what tone to use because they sound all very cool 🙂 The sound pressures and it make a lot of fun to play this guitar – really!
The guitar is from 1964! The vinyl tolex has shrunk a bit on the sides over the years and shows some wood in some places. It has also got a light cream touch over the years – but due to the good condition, it looks very neat. The pickguard is crack-free. The clear coat on the back of the neck has been removed in the past and is now nature treated – a very nice feel. The plastic cover on the vibrato lever is a replica of mine also the plastic cover on the back. All pickups are working. Also every switch and pot does working
The guitar has received a comprehensive overhaul from me. I thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished the vinyl. The vibrato & tuners were cleaned and re-lubricated. Total electrics treated. The neck set for a super string action. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and polished.
