Mal wieder etwas seltenes schönes und ein absoluter optischer Blickfang – Eine Höfner 175 in der Grün/Gold Brokat Optik und der roten Celuloid Austattung.
Die 175 ist von 1963! Entsprechend hat Sie Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich trotz des Alters dennoch Gebrauchsspuren auf Vinyl, Lack, Hardware und Kunststoff. Das Vinyl ist in einem sehr guten Zustand – Nirgends gerissen und liegt nahezu überall an. Das Binding liegt ebenfalls ringsherum am Korpus an und hat keine Beschädigungen bis auf eine kleine Stelle, wo es einen Abplatzer gibt – Sollte auf den Bildern gut sichtbar sein. Das seltene Celuloid Schlagbrett hat Abnutzungen und Gebrauchsspuren, ist aber noch super erhalten und ist Rissfrei. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch gut leserlich. Die Tonabnehmer sind im Originalzustand. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Die Bünde haben noch gut Material und eine Neubundierung ist noch nicht erforderlich. Die ersten 3 Bünde wurden in der Vergangenheit einmal getauscht, wurde nicht gut gemacht, daher hab ich diese 3 Bünder neubundiert und entsprechend den restlichen angepasst – Fällt so nicht auf. Der Hals ist gerade und spielt sich Traumhaft mit einer super Saitenlage. Die Abdeckung für den 4 Wege Schalter fehlt, werde noch einen Ersatz drauf setzen. Die Platte auf der Rückseite ist ebenfalls original von einer 175, aber in Schwarz.
Die 175 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden zerlegt, gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Vibrato zerlegt, aufbereitet und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde abgerichtet, gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Die 175 ist Bundrein und eingestellt und spielt sicher herrlich schön mit den aufgezogenen Pyramid Nickel Saiten

Up for sale once again something rare and beautiful and an absolute eye-catcher – A Höfner 175 in the great green/gold brocade look and the red Celuloid inlays.
The 175 is from 1963! Accordingly, it has signs of use! Despite the age, there are still signs of wear on the vinyl, lacquer, hardware and plastic. The vinyl is in very good condition – not torn anywhere and fits almost everywhere. The binding is also all around the body and has no damage apart from a small spot where there is a chip – should be clearly visible in the pictures. The rare celuloid pickguard has wear and tear, but is still in great condition and has no cracks. The lettering on the pickguard is still legible. The pickups are in original condition. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The electronics are original. The frets still have good material left and refretting is not yet necessary. The first 3 frets were swapped once in the past, wasn’t done well, so I refretted those 3 frets with Wagner fret wire and dressed them to match the rest in a complete dress – doesn’t really stand out. The neck is straight and plays fantastically with a great string action. The switchtip for the 4-way switch is missing, will put a replacement on it. The plate on the back is also original from a 175 but in black.
I gave the 175 a major overhaul. The lacquer and vinyl was cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. The vibrato was completely dismantled, cleaned, prepared and re-lubricated by me. Runs nice and smooth. Mechanisms have been dismantled, cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned, checked and grounded controlled. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets dressed, cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 175 is ocatve clean and setuped and plays beautiful with the strung on Pyramid Nickel classics strings
