Zur Abgabe kommt dieser sehr gut erhaltene und seltene wunderschöne 1961 Höfner 182 shortscale bass in Vinyl braun! Der Zustand dieses Basses ist unglaublich gut! Eine große und wirklich seltene Besonderheit bei diesem Bass ist der Hals aus Mahagoni! Obendrauf die seltene „Cavern“ Tonabnehmer Anordnung und dann noch das gesuchte Braun Vinyl. Die 182 Bässe wurden in dieser Ausführung nicht lange gebaut, weil der Steg Tonabnehmer relativ schnell von Mitte-Oben runter an den Steg gewandert ist. Einen Hals aus Mahagoni hab ich so gut wie nicht mehr seitdem gesehen.
Der 182 ist von 1961! Es finden sich trotz des Alters dennoch Gebrauchsspuren auf Vinyl, Hardware und Kunststoff. Das Vinyl ist in einem sehr guten Zustand – Nirgends gerissen und liegt auch überall sauber an. Es gibt eine kleine Druckstelle auf der Rückseite unten im Vinyl. Das Binding ist an keiner Stelle gebrochen und liegt ebenfalls ringsherum am Korpus an. Der Hals hat Gebrauchsspuren und jedemenge Risse im Nitroklarlack, im Bereich des Logos gibt es ein paar Verfärbungen bedingt durch Logo und Lack. Das Schlagbrett ist eine authentische Replica aus Celuloid und ist Rissfrei. Die beiden Cavern Tonabnehmer sind Neuteile von Höfner. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Das Control Panel ist ein Austauschteil von 1962, ist aber vom Zustand und der Schaltung her identisch mit dem 1961er was hier reingehört. Mit dabei ist auch der seltene höhenverstellbare Steg und Steg -Abdeckung! Der Hals ist gerade, die Bünde im super Zustand!
Der 182 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Das Vinyl wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt. Der 182 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.
! Anmerkung zur Corona Lage:
Pakete werden weiterhin ausgeliefert und die Logistik funktioniert weiterhin wie gewohnt. Ich versende umgehend nach Zahlungseingang und der Bass wird sehr gut verpackt. Es kann aufgrund der jeweiligen Bestimmungen in den Ländern zu Verzögerungen bei der Zustellung kommen. Up for sale is this very well-preserved and rare beautiful 1961 Höfner 182 shortscale bass in brown vinyl! The condition of this bass is incredibly good! A big and really rare feature of this bass is the mahogany neck! On top of that the rare „Cavern“ pickup arrangement and then the rare brown vinyl. The 182 basses in this version were not built for long time, because the bridge pickup moved relatively quickly from the middle to the top down to the bridge. I haven’t seen a mahogany neck since then.
The 182 is from 1961! Despite the age, there are still signs of wear on the vinyl, hardware and plastic. The vinyl is in very good condition – has not been torn anywhere and is clean everywhere. There is a small dent on the back at the bottom of the vinyl. The binding is not broken anywhere and is also all around the body. The neck has signs of wear and a lot of cracks in the nitro clear coat, there are a few discolourations in the area of the logo due to the logo and the coat of paint. The pickguard is an authentic replica made of celuloid and is free of cracks. The two Cavern pickups are new parts from Höfner. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The control panel is a replacement part from 1962, but is identical in condition and circuitry to the 1961 that belongs here. Also included is the rare height-adjustable bridge and Höfner bridge cover! The neck is straight, the frets are in great condition!
The 182 got a major overhaul from me. The vinyl was thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished by me. Mechanics have been cleaned and re-lubricated. All electrical treated, cleaned, tested and checked for grounding. The neck adjusted for a super string position. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled. The 182 is octave clean and setuped.
The bass is ready to roll!
Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
