Zur Abgabe kommt dieser wunderschöne 1961 Höfner 182 shortscale bass in einem frisch lackierten vergilbten Olympic Weiß! Ich freue mich immer wieder, wenn ich so einen alten 182 Bass hier habe. Das Design ist einfach der Wahnsinn mit der Tonabnehmer Anordnung am Hals. Sehr seltene Bässe, totale Player und dazu noch diese fantastische Optik. Ein schönes Transitional Model das noch die 1961er Specs hat und im frühen 1962 das Werk verlassen hat mit den Höfner Franz Pix 510 Tonabnehmer.
Der 182 ist von 1962! Es finden sich trotz des Alters dennoch Gebrauchsspuren auf Lack, Hardware und Kunststoff. Der Bass wurde von mir mit Nitrolack in Olympic White neu lackiert und anschließend mit vergilbten gealterten Nitro lack klarlackiert. Dadurch hat der Bass eine wunderschön vergilbte Färbung, wie Sie auch bei den Stratocaster sehr beliebt ist. Auf den Bildern wirkt es sehr Gelb teilweise, ist in real etwas harmonischer. Der mit Nitrolack in Schwarz lackierte Ahornhals ist dem alter entsprechend ebenfalls in einem Super Zustand – Die Kopfplatte habe ich original belassen wegen dem Logo und dem Charme mit den Abnutzungen. Allgemein hat der neue Lack von mir einen kleinen Used Effekt bekommen, dass er zum Rest des Basses optisch passt. Das Celuloid Schlagbrett ist Rissfrei und hat einen sehr schönen Tiefen Schwarzen Glanz. Das Control-Panel ist in einem guten Zustand – Beschriftung ist aber nicht mehr so gut leserlich. Alle Tonabnehmer sind im original Zustand und funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Der Hals ist gerade und eingestellt – Der Bass wurde von mir neu Bundiert!
Der 182 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt, geprüft und auf Erdung kontrolliert. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super flache Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, abgerichtet, poliert, behandelt, geölt. Der 182 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Generelle Information:
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Vintage Instrument. Die Zustand Beschreibung entspricht dieser, wenn Ihr zu mir in den Laden kommt und das Instrument direkt mitnehmen würdet. Durch die Temperaturgradiente beim Versand mit Luftfracht, kann es zu Änderungen am Zustand des Instrumentes kommen. z.B. Celluloid Schlagbretter könnten reißen oder schrumpfen durch die Spannung. Ebenfalls könnten Tonabnehmer durch die Draht Ausdehnung und Schrumpfung Ihre Funktion durch lösen der Lotstellen verlieren. Ich bin bei Reklamationen sehr entgegenkommend, aber bitte beachtet dieses und erwartet bitte kein Neuinstrument.

Up for sale is this beautiful 1961 Höfner 182 shortscale bass in a freshly painted yellowed Olympic White! I’m always happy when I have an old 182 bass here. The design is just amazing with the pickup arrangement on the neck. Very rare basses, total players and this fantastic look. A beautiful transitional model that still has the 1961 specs and left the factory in early 1962 with the Höfner Franz Pix 510 pickups.
The 182 is from 1962! Despite the age, there are still signs of wear on the paint, hardware and plastic. I repainted the bass with nitro lacquer in Olympic White and then clear-coated it with yellowed, aged nitro lacquer. This gives the bass a beautifully yellowed color, which is also very popular with 70s Stratocasters. In the pictures it looks very yellow at times, but in reality it is a bit more harmonious. The maple neck, painted with nitro varnish in black, is also in great condition considering its age – I left the front of the headstock original because of the logo and the charm with the wear and tear. In general, I gave the new paint a little used effect so that it matches the rest of the bass visually. The celuloid pickguard is crack-free and has a very nice deep black shine. The control panel is in good condition – but the labeling is no longer very legible. All pickups are in their original condition and work, as are every switch and rotary potentiometer. The electronics are original. The neck is straight and adjusted – The bass was refretted by me!
The 182 got a major overhaul from me. The lacquer was thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and polished by me. Mechanics have been cleaned and re-lubricated. All electrical treated, cleaned, tested and checked for grounding. The neck adjusted for a super low string position. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, dressed, polished, treated, oiled. The 182 is octave clean and setuped.
The bass is ready to roll!

It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.
