Zur Abgabe kommt dieser außergewöhnlich wunderschöne in red sparkle neulackierte Höfner 185 Bass mit den toll klingenden Franz Pix 511 Nova Sonic Pickups aus dem Jahre 1964. Der Bass macht einen unglaublichen Eindruck und wem die Bilder gefallen, wird Ihn real noch mehr lieben!
Der 185 ist von 1964! Entsprechend hat Er Gebrauchsspuren! Es finden sich Macken, Dings und Dongs, Kratzer und Risse an Headstock, Body und den Teilen. Der Bass wurde in der Vergangenheit in Dunkelrot Sparkle neulackiert. Die Lackierung wurde sehr gut gemacht, aufgrunddessen habe ich Sie belassen – Passt unglaublich gut zu dem Bass und der Lack hat jetzt nach der Polierung einen unglaublich schönen kräftigen Glanz. Das Schlagbrett hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer und Abnutzungen – Hat aber auch noch einen sehr schönen starken Glanz und ist Tiefschwarz. In Richtung der Eingangsbuchse wurde ein fehlendes Stück vom Schlagbrett angebracht (aus einem originalen Höfner Schlagbrett herausgeschnitten) und es ist leicht gebrochen an 2 Schrauben. Zwischen beiden Pickups finden sich 6 geschlossene Löcher – Hier war eine nachträgliche Metalabdeckung ursprünglich montiert. Die Beschriftung auf dem Schlagbrett ist noch gut leserlich. Die Tonabnehmer sind im original Zustand. Alle Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti. Die Elektronik ist Original. Der Hals ist gerade, abgerichtet und eingestellt.
Der 185 hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Der Lack wurde von mir umfassend gereinigt, desinfiziert und aufpoliert. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt, poliert und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt, gereinigt und geprüft. Der Hals eingestellt für eine super Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen. Der 185 ist Bundrein und eingestellt.

Up for sale is this extraordinarily beautiful Höfner 185 bass that was newly painted in red sparkle with the great sounding Franz Pix 511 Nova Sonic pickups from 1964. The bass makes an unbelievable impression and whoever likes the pictures will love it even more!
The 185 is from 1964! Accordingly, it has signs of use! There are quirks, things and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. The bass was repainted in the past in dark red sparkle. The paintwork was done very well and so that’s why I left it like it is – Fits incredibly well with the bass and the paint now has an incredibly beautiful strong shine after polishing. The pickguard also has some scratches and wear – but it also has a very nice, strong shine and is deep black. A missing piece of the pickguard was attached in the direction of the input-jack (cut out from an original Höfner pickguard) and it is slightly broken on 2 screws. Also 6 closed holes between the pickups – here was a bridge cover installed. The lettering on the pickguard is still legible. The pickups are in their original condition. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. The electronics are original. The neck is straight, trained and set.
I gave the 185 a major overhaul. The paint is cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. Mechanisms have been cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned and checked. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The 185 is ocatve clean and setuped.
