Ein schöner 182 Höfner Shortscale Bass von 1965. Drückender dicker sound aus den 60er, eine Meisterleistung von Höfner seinerseits.
Der Bass hat die berühmten Staple Bar Pickups eingebaut – dieselben die auch im 500/1 Violin Bass von McCartney verbaut waren/sind.
Der Bass ist von 1965! Entsprechend hat er Gebrauchsspuren! Das Schlagbrett hat gebrochene Stellen die im Laufe der Jahre durch Schrumpfung des Pickguards entstanden sind – Ich habe diese fixiert, so dass es lediglich bei der angebrochenen Optik bleibt. Der braune Vinyl Tolex ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, inklusive dem Weißen Binding das sich ringsum um den Korpus erstreckt. Beiden Staple Bar Tonabnehmer funktionieren, sowie jeder Schalter und Drehpoti.
Der Bass kommt mit seinem braunen Tolex, in der Ausführung, wie die ersten 182 mit Vinyl Überzug auf den Markt kamen. Warum dem Bass das Höfner Logo fehlt kann ich nur spekulieren – Evtl war er als Exportprodukt gedacht, so dass diese den Bass mit Ihrem Logo wie Selmer belabeln konnten. Der Hals ist original Lackiert, so dass ich ausschließen kann, dass das Logo runtergeschliffen wurde. Es handelt sich um einen echten Höfner 182 Bass
Der Bass hat von mir eine umfassende Überholung bekommen. Mechaniken wurden gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Gesamte Elektrik behandelt. Der Hals eingestellt für eine sehr gute flache Saitenlage. Griffbrett und Bünde gesäubert, behandelt, geölt und Geschliffen.

Here we have a beauty Höfner 182 shortscale bass from 1965. A fat pressing sound from the 60s – A masterpiece from Höfner that time
The bass hast he famous Staple Bar Pickup. The same that are used in the 500/1 Violin Bass and the same type that Paul McCartney used in his violin bass
The bass is from 1965! Accordingly, he has signs of wear! The pickguard has broken points that have come over the years due to shrinkage of the pickguard – I have fixed this so that it remains only in the broken optics. The brown vinyl tolex is in very good condition including the white binding that extends all around the body. Both Staple Bar pickups work, as well as each switch and potentiometer.
The bass comes with its brown Tolex, in the variation as the first 182 vinyl-coated came on the market. I can only speculate why the bass misses the Höfner logo – Maybe it was intended as an export product, so that they could label the bass with their logo like Selmer. The neck is original painted, so I can rule out that the logo was removed or sanded down. It is a real Höfner 182 bass
The bass has received a comprehensive overhaul from me. The tuners were cleaned and re-lubricated. Total electrics treated. The neck set for a very good low string action. Fingerboard and frets cleaned, treated, oiled and polished.
